Saturday October 17 (rain date Sunday October 18 @ 2 p.m.)
Pepper Jacks are back… but this time we will be making them AT ELLIOT FARM!
202 Main Street Lakeville, MA 02347 (meet by the picnic tables)
This extra special class will include:
Circle Time: Meet me at the picnic tables! We will greet each other, read a story, and then…
Shop for ingredients: Each child will get a grocery list and a basket to go gather all necessary ingredients. They will get to see and learn about where their ingredients come from while they create a fun, festive, healthy snack!
I will buy everything ahead of time and I will give each of them a few dollars to ‘buy’ their food.
Recipe Making: We will meet back at the tables to mix up some dip and construct our veggie jack-o-lanterns (aka PEPPER-JACKS!)
Finally, we will take a stroll around the farm together!
Kids will walk away with their healthy snack, a book, and CONFIDENCE!
*Recipes subject to change based on ingredient availability. When enrolling, please advise if your child has a food allergy. Accommodations can be made.

BUT! – If you’d like to be extra prepared, or have somewhere special to go after class, an extra set of clothes for your little chef might be a good idea. You know how messy cooking can be!
